Title: Engineering Administrative Associate

Location: Laurelton, NY

Position Type: Full-time, non union

Salary: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00/Year

Job Summary:

This position reports to the Manager Engineering, and is a Full time, on site, salaried position. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 pm. The right candidate will provide support to the operations of Engineering & Maintenance Departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the calibration, preventative maintenance & work order databases. Update the databases as related tasks are completed.
  • Schedule contractors/vendors when required based on due dates in the databases.
  • Maintain list of all department SOP’s to ensure department designees are informed to review and update SOP’s as required, on time.
  • Maintain Equipment Qualifications Dates spreadsheet as process, packaging & support equipment protocols are completed.
  • Manage & order inventory of all supplies required to maintain the facility.
  • Obtain Workmans Comp certificates for contractors that perform work within the facility, maintain records.
  • Work with Engineering Manager & Director to generate PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Contact vendors & service providers to maintain inventory levels and to schedule cyclic and emergency services.
  • Other filing, recordkeeping, excel spreadsheets, and other related tasks and projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager & Director.
  • Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment to meet company objectives and commitments. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and a good command of the English language.

Must Have Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to use all Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
  • Excellent time management & detail orientation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with all employees in the Epic Team Oriented facility.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a fill time basis for any employer – no temporary visas or visa transfers.

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily an office environment – must be able to use computer keyboard and mouse, sit for periods of time.
  • Will also be required to be able to stand, walk bend, and reach some of the time, in various GMP areas of the facility.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum HS Diploma and 1-3 years experience working as an Administrative Assistant or related position.
